Where the numbers come from
Station and appliance specs come from manufacturer product pages, user manuals and published efficiency data. Every value links to its source. When a value is not published, it stays empty instead of being guessed.
What is an assumption
Some inputs are rarely published, such as inverter efficiency, idle draw and usable capacity. Those use documented defaults, labeled as assumptions wherever they affect a result.
Who builds it
KiloHour is built and maintained by Inam Ur Rehman (Rehman Tech), a software developer. He writes the calculators and the formulas behind them, documented on the methodology page.
The short notes on each model page carry his name, and a model page is only offered to search engines once he has reviewed its note and its specs are verified against the manufacturer's source. The site gives estimates from published specs, not electrical or medical advice.
