Estimates, not guarantees
Runtimes, verdicts, sizing and solar figures are calculated from published manufacturer specs and the documented assumptions on the methodology page. Real results depend on your devices, temperature, battery age, settings and how a product was built, so they can be shorter or longer than shown. A "Can run it" verdict is not a promise that a product will run a device, or for how long.
Not safety or medical advice
Nothing on KiloHour is electrical, safety or medical advice. Follow the manuals for your power station and your devices. Do not connect a power station to home wiring without a suitable transfer switch fitted by a licensed electrician. If you depend on a medical device such as a CPAP or oxygen concentrator, keep a backup plan and ask your equipment provider before relying on battery power.
Specs and sources
Specs come from manufacturer product pages and manuals, each linked to its source. Manufacturers change specs, and a value can be copied wrongly. If a value matters to a decision, check it at the source. To report an error, email hello@kilohour.com.
Links, stores and ads
KiloHour links to other sites, including brand stores, and shows ads. Those sites have their own terms and prices, and we do not control them. Some links earn us a commission, as described in the affiliate disclosure. How ads and links handle data is covered in the privacy policy.
Trademarks
Brand and product names, logos and product images belong to their owners and are used only to identify products. Their use does not mean any brand endorses KiloHour. Owners can request a removal as described on the trademarks and image credits page.
Limitation of liability
KiloHour is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, KiloHour and Inam Ur Rehman are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its estimates, including damage to equipment, lost data, spoiled food or medicine, or a device running out of power. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
