Our take
What the C1000 Gen 2 is good at, and what to watch for
KiloHour take Suits buyers who want a light 1kWh station that recharges fast and switches over in 10 ms for a CPAP or laptop, but it cannot be expanded later.
The SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 is Anker's faster, lighter take on the 1kWh station: 1,024Wh, 2,000W continuous AC with a 3,000W peak, and 24.9 lb on the scale. Outputs include a 140W USB-C port and a 120W car socket alongside the AC outlets. Compared with the original C1000, it gives up the expansion port in exchange for 200W more continuous output, a 10 ms UPS switchover instead of 20 ms, and about 3.5 lb less weight.
Speed is its headline. Anker says it recharges fully from the wall in 49 minutes with UltraFast Charging, and claimed it as the fastest-charging portable power station as of April 2025. Its FAQ notes that UltraFast Charging needs the cells above 68 F, so expect slower charging in the cold. Solar input is 600W (60V max) for a full charge in about 1.8 hours. Anker lists a 10 ms UPS switchover and markets it for CPAP machines and laptops, along with operation around 20 dB, 4,000 cycles to at least 80 percent capacity and a time-of-use mode in the app.
The clear limit is that it cannot be expanded. Anker's own FAQ says it dropped the expansion feature to save weight and size, and points buyers who need more capacity to the original C1000. The page we read does not state the cell chemistry in its spec table, so we leave that field unverified. Solar input, at 600W, is lower than some rivals in this class.
