Our take

What the C2000 Gen 2 is good at, and what to watch for

KiloHour take Pick it if you want about 2kWh with a 10 ms UPS switchover and 4,000W peak in a 41.7 lb case, but its 800W solar input is lower than the F2600's.

The SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 holds 2,048Wh of LFP and delivers 2,400W of continuous AC with a 4,000W peak, through NEMA 5-20 outlets and a TT-30 RV socket. It weighs 41.7 lb (18.9 kg) and measures 18.1 by 9.8 by 10.1 inches; Anker's own comparison puts its F2000 at 67.2 lb.

Recharging is the headline. Anker lists 1,800W AC charging (full in 88 minutes), up to 800W of solar on an 11 to 60V XT60i input, an optional 800W alternator charger, and AC and solar together at 2,600W for 80 percent in 45 minutes and full in 58. The spec table lists a 10 ms UPS switchover and 4,000 cycles, and a BP2000 (Gen 2) battery adds another 2,048Wh for 4,096Wh in total. Time-of-use and Storm Guard modes are in the app.

Within Anker's range, the F2600 is the step up in base capacity and solar, with 2,560Wh and 1,000W of solar input, but it weighs 69.7 lb, peaks at 2,800W and switches in 20 ms. The C2000 Gen 2 gives up some capacity for a much lighter case and faster switchover.

A few trade-offs remain. Anker's FAQ says the USB-C ports are output only, so it cannot be topped up from a USB-C charger, and the car socket is listed only as 12V 10A. The 30 dB noise figure below 1,000W and the 9W idle draw are Anker's own numbers.

FAQ

SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 questions

Answers use the same published specs and labelled assumptions as the calculator.

How long will the C2000 Gen 2 last?

2,048 Wh stored, about 1,843 Wh of it usable at the typical estimate. At its full 2,400 W rating it empties in about 38–41 min.

Can you add batteries to the C2000 Gen 2?

Yes. Anker SOLIX lists expansion to 4,096 Wh, about 2 times the built-in 2,048 Wh.

What is the C2000 Gen 2 solar input?

Up to 800 W of panels. A single 200 W panel needs about 2.8 sunny days; panels at the full 800 W need about 3.5 peak-sun hours. Panels are assumed to deliver 75% of their rating.

Can the C2000 Gen 2 run a CPAP overnight?

Yes: 4 nights of 8 hours from a CPAP drawing 34 W with its heated humidifier and tube on (ResMed's measured figure).

How many watts can the C2000 Gen 2 power?

2,400 W continuous. Motor starts can briefly pull up to 4,000 W.
