From the specs
Where the AC2A fits
Good for
- Carrying by hand: 7.9 lb
- Off-grid solar: 200 W of input can refill it in about 1.4 peak-sun hours
Not ideal for
- A full CPAP night with the humidifier: 3 h of one night
- Kettles, hair dryers and space heaters: 1,500 W is above its 600 W Power Lifting limit
- Switchover-sensitive gear: 20 ms, where 24 stations in our catalog list less
- Many AC devices at once: it has two AC outlets
From the maker
Quirks and manual notes
- BLUETTI says Power Lifting Mode runs heating devices up to 600 W, such as electric blankets, and only works for resistive loads; the AC2A stays rated at 300 W. AC2A product page FAQ
- BLUETTI says 270 W Turbo Charging, switched on in the BLUETTI App, fills it in 1.2 hours, and Silent charging mode generates only 45 dB. AC2A product page FAQ
- BLUETTI rates it for 3,000+ cycles to 80% and says to recharge to 40 to 60% every 3 to 6 months in storage. AC2A spec table

Our take
What the AC2A is good at, and what to watch for
KiloHour take Pick it if you find one used for phones, laptops and a CPAP without heat, since its 300W of AC rules out full-size kettles, heaters and motors.
The AC2A is BLUETTI's smallest AC model in our catalog: 204.8Wh of LiFePO4 in a 7.9 lb (3.6 kg) case. Two 120V outlets share 300W, the spec table gives a 600W surge, and Power Lifting Mode lets resistive loads between 300W and 600W run, with actual output held at 300W. There is also one 100W USB-C port, two 12W USB-A ports and a 12V/10A car outlet.
Charging is quick for the size. BLUETTI quotes 1.2 hours on 270W Turbo Charging from the wall, 1.5 hours from 200W of solar, and the manual puts wall draw at up to 570W when it charges and powers a 300W load at the same time. The manual lists a UPS switching time of 20 ms or less, and BLUETTI rates the cells for 3,000+ cycles to 80 percent with a 5-year warranty.
The limit is the inverter. At 300W, and 600W for heating loads in Power Lifting, it will not run a full-size kettle, hair dryer or microwave, and BLUETTI warns against running air conditioners or washing machines from it. BLUETTI's US store now marks the AC2A discontinued and its UK store lists it as unavailable, while its Canadian and Australian stores still sell it, so in the US it is mainly a used or refurbished buy. The Elite 30 V2 is the closest current BLUETTI model.
Used and refurbished
Should you still buy it?
- A used AC2A is a good deal for phones, laptops, lights and a CPAP without heat, if it costs well under a current 250 to 300 Wh station: it has 204.8 Wh of LiFePO4, 300 W of AC, 100 W USB-C and weighs 7.9 lb. AC2A spec table
- BLUETTI lists a 5-year warranty, but we found no published policy on moving it to a second owner, so price a used unit as if it had none, and run a real load on it before paying. AC2A spec table
- BLUETTI's US store sells the Elite 30 V2 (288 Wh, 600 W) in this size, and it is the nearest current BLUETTI model in our catalog. Elite 30 V2 product page

FAQ
AC2A questions
How long will the AC2A last?
205 Wh stored, about 184 Wh of it usable at the typical estimate. At its full 300 W rating it empties in about 29–32 min.
What is Power Lifting on the AC2A?
Power Lifting accepts heating loads (kettles, heaters) rated up to 600 W but delivers at most 300 W, so they run at reduced power. Motors and electronics stay capped at 300 W. Motor starts can briefly pull up to 600 W.
What is the AC2A solar input?
Up to 200 W of panels. A single 200 W panel needs about 0.4 days at 4.5 sun hours a day; panels at the full 200 W need about 1.4 peak-sun hours. Panels are assumed to deliver 75% of their rating.
How heavy is the BLUETTI AC2A?
7.9 lb (3.6 kg). That is about 26 Wh per pound.
Does the AC2A work as a UPS?
BLUETTI lists a 20 ms switchover when wall power drops.
