What the AC70 runs

From its 1,000 W AC outlets, 3 of 6 listed devices last their usual hours, the fridge, microwave (1,000 w cooking power) and space heater do not.

  • Tight fit

    Fridge 123 W

    10–12 h

It runs about 12 h 12 min, short of the 24 h you need. Runtime at its 41 W average, as the compressor cycles.

  • Can't run it

    Microwave (1,000 W cooking power) 1500 W

    Not available

Draws 1,500 W; the AC70 is rated 1,000 W continuous. It will shut off.

  • Runs briefly

    Space heater 1500 W

    22–25 min

The AC70 runs it, but only for about 24 min at 1,500 W.

  • Runs it

    TV 120 W

    4 h

    120 W running and a 120 W startup peak fit within the AC70's 1,000 W continuous and 1,500 W surge ratings.

  • Runs it

    CPAP with humidifier 34 W

    12–14 h

    34 W running and a 34 W startup peak fit within the AC70's 1,000 W continuous and 1,500 W surge ratings.

  • Runs it

    Wi-Fi router 10 W

    25–32 h

    10 W running and a 10 W startup peak fit within the AC70's 1,000 W continuous and 1,500 W surge ratings.

Our take

What the AC70 is good at, and what to watch for

KiloHour take Pick it if fast charging matters most at this size, but plan on a power strip, since two AC outlets is few for 768Wh.

The AC70 sits between compact and mid-size: 768Wh of LiFePO4 at about 22.5 lb (10.2 kg), with two AC outlets rated at 1,000W continuous. BLUETTI's spec list gives a 1,500W surge, and its Power Lifting mode lets resistive loads such as kettles or hair dryers run up to 2,000W.

Charging is its strongest area. BLUETTI says Turbo Charging takes it from 0 to 80 percent in about 45 minutes, solar input reaches 500W, and a full solar charge takes roughly 2.8 to 3.3 hours at that rate. It also lists a 20 ms UPS switchover, two 100W USB-C ports, Bluetooth app control, 3,000 or more cycles to 80 percent capacity and a five-year warranty. BLUETTI's FAQ says it works with its B80, B230 or B300 expansion batteries in Power Bank Mode for more capacity.

The weak spots are outlets and a few inconsistent figures. Two AC outlets is few for a 768Wh unit, so a power strip is likely. BLUETTI's own page lists Turbo charging as 850W in one place and 950W in another, so treat the exact AC input as unconfirmed. At 1,000W continuous, it will not run a space heater or a full-size microwave without Power Lifting, which is meant for resistive loads only.

FAQ

AC70 questions

Answers use the same published specs and labelled assumptions as the calculator.

How long will the AC70 last?

768 Wh stored, about 691 Wh of it usable at the typical estimate. At its full 1,000 W rating it empties in about 33–37 min.

What is Power Lifting on the AC70?

Power Lifting lifts the limit to 2,000 W, for resistive loads (kettles, heaters) only. Motors and electronics stay capped at 1,000 W. Motor starts can briefly pull up to 1,500 W.

What is the AC70 solar input?

Up to 500 W of panels. A single 200 W panel needs about 1.1 sunny days; panels at the full 500 W need about 2.1 peak-sun hours. Panels are assumed to deliver 75% of their rating.

Can the AC70 run a CPAP overnight?

Yes: one 8-hour night from a CPAP drawing 34 W with its heated humidifier and tube on (ResMed's measured figure).

Does the AC70 work as a UPS?

BLUETTI lists a 20 ms switchover when wall power drops.
